Great factory split

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased the Artisan after my old splitboard was stolen and I definitely think I made the right choice. I spent a month up in Alaska with this board and it definitely performed. Great in tour mode and I didn't notice any issues on the uphill with their rocker/camber profile. In my opinion it does run a little bit on the softer side (not a soft board by any means though!) which is why I went with the larger of the two sizes I was debating between. Super fun board and it definitely held up to some abuse!

Sick board from Splitboard originators!

I have had a blast riding the Artisan splitboard this past season. It handles everything from the deepest pow to hard pack ice. Its nice to have a board that rides easily in steep tight trees, yet holds a good line when the speed starts to pick up. The hybrid camber/rocker profile is forgiving but very responsive allowing for every kind of riding style.

If you enjoy snowboarding on fresh snow, exploring new places, and getting away from the big crowds at the ski resort, i highly recommend splitboarding! It's a whole lot easier then boot-packing with your board on your back!

Does this set up include the Voile universal splitboard hardware, or does that need to be purchased separately?

Really impressed by this board. Finally I feel Voile has come through with something that doesn't feel like a 2X4 strapped to your feet. The switch from skin to board has become easier with the now flush interface. In ride mode I feel this is Voile's closest production to a resort board yet. Light and easy to rely on the tail with a lot of mobility throughout the deck which is a far cry from the split-decision of yore. The board also boasts quick and precise turning for run outs where it counts. Thank you for listening to your riders via feedback or market demand.
