Best snowboard pants yet!!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have been snowboarding for 15 years and these are by far worth every penny!! I am 5'2 125lbs, i got a size small. They fit perfect and there not too thight or uncomfortable in anyway! You can wear them as regular pants when out and about without the bulky snowpant feel! They look like dark jeans when on! Not snowpants! So amazing they are warm and keep you dry not matter the weather plus they look great on! I recommend these!! Or Roxy "spring break pants, which I also love and are very similar!

Fitness and fashion!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I wear these insulated pants for winter hiking. They are comfortable from 30 degrees F to well below zero. I don't know about you, but they fit my athletic/hourglass but not too curvy shape perfectly. Just enough leg room to move freely, with a convenient straight leg that doesn't get tied up in crampons. Outside fabric doesn't get stiff in the cold or go "swish" "swish" either. Super cute in purple, but I also got the black to match everything. Love it!

The matching jacket is ugly, runs big and has a hood that is useless without a helmet. Cement gray is a man's color. What were they thinking?!

Volcan Skinnies

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Solid pair of pants for boarding. Warm fleece lining so I don't need to double layer anymore. Very comfortable and stretchy. Mine are a small and I'm 5'2 and they fit awesome my height. I used to wear knee pads on icey days but they're a little too too snug for that but they're warm and trendy ..love themmmm !!

Awesome!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These ski pants are so cute on. They fit true to size, and stretch , so don't worry if they are a little tight. They fit over my ski boots perfectly, althought they were long, so I had a seamstress shorten them. They turned out great! I'm 5'3" and they were definitely too long! Don't let that stop you from buying them as they can be hemmed up. It cost me $20.00 to hem them.

Bomb-A Pants

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These pants seriously rock. They are skinny but still warm, so my legs don't freeze off on the lift. The zip sides make it easy for them to fit over ski or snowboard boots. I get compliments on them every time I wear them!
I'm 5'6", 125 lbs, and a small fits me perfectly.

Great!

Got these for my girlfriend. She's 5'5", 100lbs so I ordered xs and they fit her perfectly! We live in the south so I don't know how they would hold up to snow, but she has been wearing them on the motorcycle now that temperatures have dropped to the lower 40s. She's really happy with them, and said they're really warm and comfy.

Don't fit over hips/butt

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I really had high hopes for these pants as I read in plenty of forums they fit well on a more curvier woman because of the stretch material. But, alas, another pair of pants I just can't really get to fit right. I'm 5'6 and 160 lbs, very muscular, with larger thighs/hips/butt. I just can't find a pair of pants to go over my butt! They all sit too low, too tight, and then I have a big flare in the back because they are technically too big anyway for the remainder of my measurements. I've ordered and returned about 3 pairs of pants now. Such a bummer!

Responded on

hey Kat -thanks for this review. i was considering these as well. i have very similar measurements/body type as you. 5'4/145lbs. I wear the Nike willow brook pants in medium. The waist is def big but there is a draw string that helps. Best part is that it fits completely over butt and thighs. You might want to check them out. If you ride in really cold weather, invest in a really good base layer. I was riding in -9 yesterday and i was a little cold in the thighs. Good luck!
