Marilyn on the mountain.
Volcom used shimmery, satin-y fabric and a fluffy faux fur trim to give the Women’s Austral Insulated Jacket some serious glamour. Go ahead and get your bold red lipstick out. Today is the day for that. You’ll stay cozy on the mountain thanks to warm synthetic insulation, weather-resistant fabric, and a powder skirt that keeps you dry in the fluff. Mesh-lined zip vents help you keep your cool, and tons of pockets give you spots to store your tunes, money, and jeweled goggles.

Velcro Causes Fraying
Text Fade - Medium
I really like this jacket, though the threading on the arms started to fray after 2 days because it kept getting caught on the velcro. Other than that, I think this jacket does its job. It is not the warmest, so you definitely have to layer up. I have a 28in waist and 40in hips and the jacket is long enough so that bottom doesn't ride up at all (if you have hips like me you'll know what i'm talking about).

hey there, i am confused on sizing with alot of these jackets..I am usually a Small in most brands of jackets...I have had a Roxy and Westbeach Small jacket in the past...The sizing on this jacket makes me wonder of i should take a medium...My waist size is 29 and chest is 35...What would u suggest.. i dont want to float in the jacket either
Love this jacket. I haven't worn it snow boarding yet but it is everything I thought I would receive! I got a smaller one which is a nice fit because I only like to wear thermally signlets underneath. If you want a little extra room I recommend going up another size.
This jacket is really great in terms of warm and features. The big problem is the sparkle on the jacket rubbed off. I have yet to wash it but i am sure if i do it will just become a plain black jacket.
