Volcom Balancing Act Short - Women's - 2008
Fred Nietzsche used a balancing tightrope walker to symbolize the futility of trying to overcome humanity. That being said, the Volcom Women's Balancing Act Short is more worried about balancing its social life than listening to some crazy German's machinations. Slip into these lightweight summer shorts when evening falls and it's time to take the longboard out for a roll. The Balancing Act Short's hem hits right above the knee.
Bottom Line: Give the Daisy Dukes a break.

I just returned these shorts. They are shorter than they look in the picture, they ended about 2 inches above the knee which I found to be an unflattering length. I ordered the black ones that look like a grey plaid on the site but when they came, they were very black and white, not plaid at all and were actually a strange print of crescent moons that made a sort of warped pattern. Hard to explain but I didn't dig it at all. The size was great, typical Volcom sizing. I always get Volcom in size 7, usually in womens sizing, I'm a 4 or 6 depending on the brand.
Change me.
