Depends on what size your waist is. If you're a 38, you're fine in XXL. Even if you're up to a 40 waist, you'll probably be able to pull off the XXL. Any bigger than that and I think they'll be too small for you.

You definitely get what you pay for, its completely waterproof. I boarded an entire day in the rain and stayed was completely dry.

I'm 5'9'' 155lbs size 32 waist and I bought these in a Large and they fit awesome! A little big in the waist but nothing a belt or the adjustable waist straps can't fix! I love them, my new favorite pants for sure!
im 5'11 size 34 waist are the xl's going to be way to

i am your same exact size and purchased a pair of these in XL. they are too long and too big on the waist. i had large volcom pants from back in the day that were too tight, but now they have adjustable waste.
i would say GO LARGE.
the XL do fit on the waist with the adjusted waste as tight as it can go (and i wear a belt), and i just fold up the bottom of the pant legs if i am walking in them. but once im boarding i dont notice them as being too big.

They might be a little pricey but well worth the money, I was very surprised with all the features these have and the look of the pants! Super comfy, slim/boot cut fit not super skinny like the holden pants but not super baggy. The purple vents are a dope feature that adds a little style as well as the glove holster which is perfect for when you need to stash your gloves somewhere real quick while on the lift, For me they are perfect, I love the grease color that I got!
