Bjorn Leines has been at the forefront of snowboarding for too long to ride inferior outerwear. This heavy hitter from Minnesota shreds everything from inner-city rails, to hand-shoveled kickers in the backcountry, to the globe's steepest spines and he does it all with the Volcom Bjorn 3-Layer Jacket.
Riri waterproof zippers shun water and keep weight down by using less material
Fully taped seams reinforce a water-tight seal over vulnerable seams
Face Tech uses an integrated face mask to keep you covered from the elements and is soft, breathable, and moisture wicking
Zip-Tech jacket-to-pant interface creates a virtual fortress against invading snow
Extras include Lycra hand gaiters and goggle clips
I'm 6' about 175 lbs I ordered the large and it was too big for me lengthwise, almost reached my knees. I don't like my jackets super baggy. I easily exchanged it and the medium fits me great. However a little disappointed that they advertised two internal pockets and mesh-lined vents. There is not a single zipper pocket inside the jacket, and the vents are unlined/open (you can stick your hand through it when they are unzipped). Material feels great and durable and the wolf is amazing, can't wait to try it out in the snow. took a star off due to false advertising.
Ya I also am baffled at the missing noise pocket and pit vent mesh, but mines also missing a stash pocket and RECCO according to the tags...this is just weird. Im finding myself having to get inventive without a pocket for my tunes. But the jacket is still sick! BTW I contacted Volcom to try and get some answers, still no response.
Hey Tom, this jacket is sized generously. Sorry I do not have exact length measurements.
I'm 6 feet tall, 160 lbs and I have the Volcom Immortal jacket (same cut). The jacket is very baggy on me. I could have easily sized down to a medium. I imagine the XL will be a great fit on you.
Also, you can compare your measurements with the View Sizing Chart button directly under the Select Options box.
This is my first year switching over to volcom and I couldn't be happier. Especially with buying this jacket! The ziptech/lycra hand gators really protects you from snow getting anywhere inside your jacket. Plus, the graphic is AMAZING! Can't wait to take it out in some pow!

i've never had a zipper get stuck on the mesh once. i do ride with my vents all the way open at least half of every day and I ride hard so i fall regularly. open vents + riding aggresivley= snow inside the coat
I don't understand why anyone ever wants mesh lined pit zips? for the most part, the zippers get stuck in the mesh, and you're fumbling with them. this is why most serious backcountry type coats and pants don't have mesh.

Love the jacket overall. Really warm, the Face Tech is a pretty sweet feature. Always getting comments on the sweet wolf on the back. Unfortunately like others have said it doesnt have the mesh underarm zips or what i was most bummed on was that there wasnt a media pocket. Other than that so far its been awesome
