Volcom Bjorn 3-Layer Jacket - Men's - 2010

Volcom built the Men's Bjorn Jacket with three-layer V-Science, so you know you'll stay dry unless you take off your jacket and roll around in the snow like an idiot. The Bjorn is packed with a ton of other cool stuff, too. And,of course, volcom finishes it off with its signature style.

  • V-Science breathable shell system eliminates clamminess
  • Fully taped seams back up waterproofing weak spots
  • Zip Tech pant interface for total protection
  • Mesh-lined vents cool you down
  • Lycra hand gaiters seal out the snow
  • Noise pocket keeps your MP3 player safe

Bottom Line: If you get wet wearing this jacket it must be your fault.

This jacket is awesome. The lime color is steezyy. When i got it i poured some water on the sleeve and it totaly ran off the edge. This jacket is completely waterproof and breathable. THe face tech mask is super comfertable and crazy awesome. THe noise pocket is nice but you cant wear earbuds of any kind with them....Must wear headphones.
The only downside is lack of pockets but that really isn't a problem because i dont carry alot of stuff with me. Overall it is very comfertable. I would suggest wearing a fleecce, sweater,or sweatshirt etc. underneath because it is not insulated. THe hand gators are cool too. The fit is not really thin it is more regular-baggy fit but it does fit long. If your about to have your growthspurt then size up.

I'm 5 foot 7, 115 pounds and I think that a medium would fit me and I like it to be a little loose, what do you think?

I'm 5'7 like you, 140 lbs, and i'm still growing. I haven't hit my growthspurt yet so I got the large, hoping that over this summer i will grow a few inches.
For you i think either a small or medium. Depending on how long your arms are i would go with the small,as long as you stopped growing*. And its also based on personal preference , if you think it fits then it fits. Hope this helps!!

I too dig the baggy look. I'm about your size (6 feet tall) and got a large Volcom jacket for this season - too short for me. I wish I had gotten the XL, so that's what I advise to you. Go XL and you'll be stoked!

Great Jacket, but not quite what you think

I got the lime front version as a Christmas present from the girlfriend. All I can say is thank you honey! The Jacket is pretty cool, with lots of cool extras like a built in face mask and snow guards around the wrists. The fit is long and straight, not slim as the page suggests. So if like me, if you like a loose and baggy fit, I would go one size up.

On the downside, I was expecting the 3 layer shell to equal a zip in fleece, instead the fleece is actually part of the lining. So it might be a bit much if you get warm in the spring. The other downer is the lack of pockets. In particular, I miss the clear lift pass pockets that my old volcom jacket had. All in all, though smallish gripes.
