Volcom Blast Jacket - Men's - 2010
Set your charges this winter in the Volcom Men’s Blast Jacket. Volcom crafted this winter shell with its V-Science 2-layer shell and taped the critical seams to keep you extra dry on the hill. Underarm zips let you dump heat when you’re hiking your favorite hit, and the lined hand warmer pockets keep your digits warm while you’re waiting in the line-up. Lycra hand gaiters and the stretch adjustable powder skirt keep unwanted snow from entering, and there are pockets for all of your on-mountain-gear like, goggles, MP3 player, and cell phone.

Also it stays around 32 degrees where i board and I just want to wear a regular shirt under my jacket: should I get this jacket or the Volcom type 1?

i think a different one especially if where you live is a little like juneau becaus this says only 8 waterproof rating so a 10000 is probobly good

I like the print but the length is a little short and when you size up the arms get all baggy. But is still pretty cool looking. The thing that really dissapointed me was the fact that it didnt have wrist gaiters. the tech specs on this page say it does but when i tried it on they where non-exixtant. A bummer but I guess you can sew your own in! Either way...sick jacket

I just received my own Volcom Blast Jacket in the mail. It's very stylish and it's comfy as well. I can't wait to use it at the mountains!

this jacket sucks your better off to get the volcom falling down jacket or volcom shandyland, they both have better water proof rating and better breathability rating, they also look better and are the same price

Hey Matt, this jacket is just a shell with a mesh lining. When the temp dips and the wind chill factor rises, you will definitely want to layer up underneath. Or, you might want to consider an insulated jacket.
