Boarding is boundless in this jacket.
Freedom is just another word for no snow left untouched. In the Volcom Women's Free Insulated Jacket, you'll move about the mountain as though you owned the place. V-Science fabric and low-loft insulation give you unrestricted range of motion with weather protection and warmth. Chic styling and low-loft insulation keeps the ultra-puffy look off your body, and cucumber slices will take care of your puffy eyes if you're heading out for dawn patrol.
Waterproof breathable fabric and fully taped seams are put together in this slim-fitting jacket. Go hard in snow or sun knowing water won't be the Achilles heel to your touring: precipitation short of a tsunami won't touch you, and body moisture makes a beeline for the outside so you don't end up a shivery sweaty mess when you stop for lunch. Low-loft insulation deftly slips into the jacket for long-lasting warmth without giving you a profile that makes your boarding buddies think of s'mores.
Backcountry boarding means you're humping to hills and face shots. When the sun is out and you're working hard, the underarm vents give you the ability to jettison hot air and let in a little bit of cool air so your hot bod doesn't overheat. The powder skirt protects you from pesky snow dust and also provides the place to attach Volcom pants. With the jacket-to-pant interface, you can be a vision in Volcom from head to toe. Super Suede in front of your chin protects your face from unsightly chafing, and the V-Science 2-way cuff system lets you leave your mittens on top or tucked in.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This kept me dry during our unusually wet storms this season. It also moves well and the pit vents are so very helpful when the sun comes back out. The fit was exactly as I hoped as well.
