I love these slacks, and have bought more pairs than I care to count. I have to wear a shirt and tie to work every day, and these slacks have never let me down. They manage to pull off a look professional look while still maintaining excellent comfort. They aren't just dress pants though; not by a long shot. They can be worn out on the town or for any casual occasion. Super comfortable, durable, and perfect for work. The hip pocket comes in handy for Purell or an aspirin. Bottom line, get these pants in every color available; you won't regret it.
P.S. Cross your fingers that Volcom brings back the pinstripes versions

Do they make a Frickin chino in navy blue? I tried on a pair at the volcom store but I don't know if it was the modern fit or not.

These are a solid pair of pants. First off though the description I believe is incorrect these have a 17.5" leg opening. The 16.5" is for the Frickin Modern Chinos. The pants are great for casual wear or being worn as slacks. Super comfortable, definitely looser fitting. All in all you cant go wrong with these.

I don't think they are ugly or uncomfortable, but they are just not what I was looking for. The description says they are a modern fit pant, but the tag clearly says otherwise. They do nothing to accent my body and wouldn't fit in my wardrobe. When I modeled them in front of my friend she said "they look like grandpa pant". As soon as I get the chance I will be sending them back.
