perfect for warmer days with enough give to wear extra layers under on colder ones. wore it with a long sleeve under armor shirt, cotton dri-fit shirt, and hydro fleece hoodie, opened up side vent zips and i was straight.
jacket-pant connection is awesome! underarms zips are refreshing and comes with the perfect amount of pockets.

Is the material of this jacket more like a softshell than a regular snowboard shell? it says it has stretch bonded fabric which is more typical of a softshell?

I'm thinking it's more of a hybrid of the two. Outer material has some stretch and is softer, resembling a softshell. But most softshells are water resistant and this one is 10K. Best of both worlds. I'll let you know what it's like in person when I buy it in the next couple weeks!

Been wearing the jacket for a week now. Definitely a softshell - soft outer, lightly lined with fleece and definitely has some stretch to it. But also the high 10K waterproofing. LOVE IT! Review will be up soon.

this is for sure a soft shell jacket on the thin side but keeps you warm. the spandex wrist gaiters come in handy and i love the metal stud accents.
