If you're a hardcore boarder who's not afraid of winter storms or gnarly treks in the backcountry, you know how important it is to have optimal protection. Volcom pulls out all the stops to bring you the Women's Hurricane Gore-Tex 3L Pant, designed to handle hard use in extreme conditions. The pant's Gore-Tex 3-layer shell provides top-of-the-line breathable waterproof protection, while reinforcement at the seat and hem stands tough against hard use. Volcom's V-Science breathable lining system keeps you comfortable when you're pushing hard, and when you're working up a good sweat, the mesh lined inner thigh zipper vents allow you to air out.
An important function of a highly protective pant is to keep snow out, and the Hurricane pant has a number of features that do just this. At the cuffs, boot gaiters with lace hooks attach to your boots, while snap gussets allow you to widen the gaiters to ease them over your boots and then snug them closed to create a protective seal. At the waist, a zipper interface enables you to connect the pants to any Volcom snow jacket, essentially creating a one-piece snow suit that does not allow snow in. The hand pockets zip closed with waterproof YKK Aquaguard zippers so whatever you stash inside stays dry, and moisture does not sneak in through the pockets. Whatever the weather, however deep the snow, and however hard you're going, the Hurricane Pant is up for the challenge when you're pushing for extremes.

I've never had Volcom gear. What's with...
I've never had Volcom gear. What's with them only having a 30 day warranty? What is the quality level?
Not sure why 30 days is what they have their warranty as, but I skied in a pair of Volcom pants 20+ days last year and they held up really well. I like the quality a lot and have not had any issues with my Volcom pants.
Hope that helps!
