The Volcom Jean Snowboard Pants may have Volcom’s baggy Ergo fit and 5-pocket denim styling, but these ain’t no boring blue jeans. When you ride, Volcom’s V-Science lining system retains heat without causing swamp-ass, while the 5K water-resistant fabric sheds light wetness.
Triple-reinforced rise for durability
V-Science breathable lining and mesh-lined zipper vents for temperature regulation
V-Science Magna fly closure won’t snag
Bottom Line: Don't try this with normal Volcom jeans.
these pants are sick. i went to a store and got these and also tried on the volcom frigid pant and only noticed a few differences. one is that these pants are a SHELL pant. there is no insulation really, except for this mesh layer on the inside of the pant. so if your getting these and you live somewhere where its like -10 degrees consistently, not the pant for you. the other is that there really is no pocket space in this pant, but that wasn't a big deal for me. overall i really like em, and i loveee the blue color. looks so niceee in person. they are plently comfy with a simple pair of long johns or pajama pants under em and they offer great style for a great price. if anyone was wondering, i am 5'11, 130 pounds with a waist of 30" and i went with the medium, just cause i like em baggy. grant it i will need a belt but they still fit niceeee.

Hey I'm 5'10, 160, 31" waist, 30-31" inseam... looking for pants that are decently loose (casual fit, not something I'll be swimming in, but not too tight either). Should I go with a small or a medium?
These snowboarding pants are no more in price than a pair of jeans. But no more or less state of the art, than a pair of expensive boarding pants. Plus they look totally neon without a blacklight on them. I like em.
I have a question about the pockets, do they have zippers over them? because when i heard that they have pockets similar to denim jeans that's the first thing i thought of, and also i was wondering if it had any vented pockets (the ones where you open them to cool down), thanks
