Cause you only get one pair of knees.
Your park rides can be harsh on the knees, so Volcom made the Women’s Kaslo Insulated Pants with removable, adjustable knee pads. You also like to ride in all kinds of conditions—chilly, wet winter nights and sunny spring days. The fully taped seams, 10K-rated fabric, and light polyfill insulation in these Volcom snowboard pants is right there with ya. The V-Science breathable lining system helps prevent clammy legs, and when you really start to heat up, you can unzip the mesh-lined inseam vents for immediate coolage.

I can't completely dis these pants.... They are very comfy and I love the lining warm and fuzzy. They fit big with room to move, also a plus. However the outer material is pretty weak. After 4 day's on the hill mine are ready to retire. Every little snag results in a tear. If you like shredding glades these pants are not going to cut it. Unless you enjoy rocking duct tape patches.
