- V-Science construction and taped critical seams block spring slush
- Mesh-lined underarm vents dump excess heat whether you're in the resort or hitting urban rails
- Regular fit means you can layer underneath this shell in the winter and have plenty of room to move in the spring
- Hood and pow skirt help keep the fluff out

Hey, i'm between 6'2 and 6'3 and about 160lbs, just wondering what size you would recommend?
Trying to decide between L and XL
Hey Nate, a large will fit you true to size and an XL will fit you a little loose.
I'm 6ft at 185lb and most large jackets are tight on my shoulders and the XL are to big. This jacket fits very well. It's a great fit if your in between sizes.

Hey I'm looking for a new shell and I can't find the right size I'm 6ft 175 lbs and Im thinking med or large
A medium will fit you true to size, a large will be your +1 size. I'm your height and 155lbs, and have this same year's Volcom jackets in large. Let me tell you, it was steezy but BIG. I could have gone with a medium and been completely happy. So if you want a true to size, go medium. Baggy, go large.
Volcom made a really solid shell that is so close to perfect that the small things it doesn't have are barely noticed. Fit is dead on, looks solid, nice and waterproof and the powder skirt works well. Here are the downers for me, no tapered seems, no season pass holder and the inside zipper has a snag-fest every time you want to open or close it. But really, great jacket, would highly recommend!
Cool long but just a shell
I stupidly didn't realize this was just a shell. It's a nice jacket though kind of long but not insulated at all! I was fooled by the "2-Layer" part and didn't read the part of the descriptin that explained it's just a shell.
