Description

Stay warm, stay dry.

Your snowboarding pants are warm, but when you get into the lodge, you'll want to pull them off and sit by the fire. The women's Volcom Nile Pant is a performance base layer that's perfect for long days on the mountain. They're made from Performance Dry fabric, which wicks moisture away from your skin. So, you won't have steaming legs when you shed down your layers. On top of this, a wide waistband reduces pressure on your waist. And if you're looking for a total outfit, the Nile pant is the perfect match to the Volcom Kitara Crew — stay warm and dry from head-to-toe.

For curvy girls

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The flower print is super cute and the fabric is nice and thick for those cold days. I am 5'9" and 140lbs and I grabbed a M. It fits great on the waist because of the thick band but it has lots of extra room at the hip/seat; these would look great on a curvy girl but for me it bunched at the crotch and on my bottom.

Not a huge fan.

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

I was stoked on these pants when cruising the site so naturally I added them to my cart. I'm not really a flowery kind of girl and by mistake ordered the black pants (the flowery ones) instead of the glacier blue. Upon receiving them I was bummed with the design but thought hey, these are supposed to be base-layer pants, it's fine, no one will see them. But, I ended up returning them for a few reasons. 1. They are REALLY thick, generally for riding I like a thinner base layer just for a little extra warmth, not sweatpants. 2. They don't seem to fit true to size, I am 5'3" 135 pounds, and normally would wear a medium, but these were too big in M, in both length and overall fit. So size runs large.
