I was pretty bummed in the fit on these. I have a bottom and the XL still feel like they don't cover much. I basically can't wear them unless I want to moon everyone. I feel like these fit like a medium would. Generally I can get away with a large but I know volcom's grades between sizes don't seem like much so I went XL to be on the safe side. Sure enough wasn't large enough. If your petite, they will work
