Volcom Paulo T.D.S Insulated Hooded Jacket - Women's - 2011

Layer the Volcom Paulo T.D.S. Insulated Hooded Jacket under your shredding shell for extra warmth mid-winter, and then lounge around the lodge in this ridiculously soft fleece after last chair.

  • Volcom's Thermal Defense System places warmth where you need it most so you stay cozy without the limited flexibility of a bulky thermal
  • Butter-fur lining feels crazy-soft
  • Mesh vents excess heat
  • Asymmetrical zipper at front for style and chin comfort

Bottom Line: T.D.S. stone.

PERFECT. COZY.

The lining in this jacket is so cozy. I was worried it would add bulk but it doesn't. I bought the size I usually buy my T's and hoodies in and it fits perfect. It's my new favorite jacket!

The outer layer is that all-purpose weather-proof poly blend (like the kind that soccer warm-ups were made out of if you ever played club...). The inside is a super fuzzy fleece where you'd want warmth and a soft cotton blend around the hands and neckline. The jacket is too warm to wear as an everyday sorta jacket, but is a great softshell for warmer days shredding the mountain or colder days around town. (I haven't tried it, but it could probably be a really warm midlayer on hella cold days.) The hood fits over a helmet and the sleeves are nice and long. My only concern is that it's really long, so if you have a shorter torso like I do, it pretty much covers your butt (which I guess is a good thing if you board...). I'm 5'3", 125# and the medium fits great (except it's a little long).
