There comes a time when you need to realize that wearing a cotton hoody in winter isn't going to help you stay warm, and in fact, cotton will prevent you from performing at your best. Zip up the Volcom Men's Pretend Hydrophobic Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt and prepare for enlightenment. Now, just because the hydrophobic fleece repels moisture doesn't mean you can dash into the nearest lake like a seal and expect to stay dry. It's not a wetsuit, it's a sweatshirt ... but it's a sweatshirt that you can wear under a shell for added warmth or on it's own when conditions aren't as bad.

its what is described, a good hoody for layering that will wick away moisture. its nice and long so when goin over your pants it'll be harder for snow to get in, but not so long that your jacket won't cover them. not ridiculously thick, but its very nice

I'm 6'2" and this hoodie is long on me and I like that. The hydrophobic fleece is smooth and shiny looking, and I wasn't expecting that, but I like that. The pattern is crazy for a dark hoodie and I like that. The cuffs are longer than most and I like that. In summary, I like it.
