Volcom Recognize Pant - Men's - 2010

It’s impossible to go unnoticed on the hill when you’re rocking the Volcom Men’s Recognize Snowboard Pants. Bitchin’ prints, bold colors, and removable suspenders set your style miles above the norm, while Volcom’s V-Science fabrics cover you with waterproof breathable protection. Fully taped seams stop melted snow from sneaking into your rockstar britches, and mesh-lined zippered vents prevent balls of fire on those unusually warm days. Volcom trimmed the Recognize Pants with tasty features like an adjustable waistband, stretch boot gaiters, a glove holster, and the Zip Tech pant-to-jacket interface.

Bottom Line: Reckanize.

On the "Laser" color pant, is the pattern gray or very light blue? Kind of hard to tell from the picture.

It's actually white. White lines on a black background. Yeah the pic isn't that great.

I just got the pants today (killer service!), and even better than white - the stripes are very subtle multi-color!

Great Pants

By:

Love these pants. Got them in Military Green. Great looking material. You'll see me still wearing these hours after the slopes close because they look so good. I thought they could use cargo pockets at first, for gloves, but if I found I can stick them in the extra large back pocket. Thanks Volcom.

These are definitely a "shiny" pant..it has a "textured" look to it that looks like leather..but def have some jazzy "shine" to them so you look ultra cool ridin down the hill.

No definitely don't get a small. They will be too short for sure. You could go medium, or if you want a slightly baggy fit go large. Medium or large will be fine, not smalls.

Also these pants aren't a slim fit, so don't expect them to fit slim.

not as slim as last year's Slim Fit

By:
November 27, 2009

the recognize pant is labeled as Volcom's Slim Ergonomic Boot Fit... last year's Slim Fit was almost perfect... each leg looked like an hourglass: narrowed at the knee then flared out huge towards the cuffs with extra large zippered ghetto slits... this year, it seems they widened out the knee a bit (the cuffs are still big, but the ghetto slits are not as long), so in reality they kind of feel like normal straight leg pants with just a little bit of slim in the knee, unless you get them in smaller sizes... if you want good pants, these definitely fit the bill, but if you want a slim look, i'd go elsewhere... (also, note that the black color is not actually a solid black... it's a shiny material with gold specks in it... i wasn't too big a fan of the shiny material, instead favoring a more street-feel with herringbones and tweeds, which they did last year and this year in some other models and colors)

Welp, they don't look like it to me or Streblo (review below) but Volcom is calling them slim. Personally I wouldn't call these pants slim. Here's a link to volcom's description.

hey i really like these pants and im trying to decide what size to get
i want a large but im afraid of the inseam. i was wonderings if you can get a longer inseam on the large size cause i like my pants to go over my bindings. and i like it to be baggy at the bottom

don't think they have Tall or Short variations of each size... i'll tell you though, volcom inseams are plenty long and their cuffs are some of the widest in the biz, especially their Slim Fit pants which tend to flare out at the bottom...
