To answer a couple of points... the material is matt and textured. And the sizing is a bit off. The difference between the L and XL in the waist is huge. I'm 5'10" and 175lbs and settled for the L because the XL was for someone much bigger than me. Fabulous pants tho - love the padded knees and the cool detailing - especially the patterned mesh in the vents.

I ordered the XL (I'm 5'10, wanted the long legs) and the sizing chart says 30-32in waist... but the pants are at least a 34in waist if not more. They are very cool tho - so long as you're tall and big, not just tall.
