I tore this jacket 4 times in the first 2 days of ownership. WOW, volcom. I was barely doing anything, and i completely ripped out the back, hip, and arms of the jacket. SAVE YOUR MONEY>>>>>GO ELSEWHERE!

Blowing hard and cold at Sunshine village sumit. Jacket held up, no wind got thru at all. Not a drop of moisture when it hit -4 one day. Zip-tech is awesome, not restrictive at all. Hand gaiters kept snow out and the face mask came in handy on the long chair lift! I have already purchased other volcom gear because of this jacket!

Only thing that could make it better would be goretex. Built in face shield, wrist gaitors, drop tail. Large goggle pocket and well placed pockets that don't interfere with a backpack. Zip- tech jack to pant interface with other volcom pants. It's a light shell so will have to layer up. 2-way Adjustable hood and the face mask also is adjustable.

LOVE this jacket. The material is incredibly stretchy for being an outerwear piece, and it's extremely waterproof and breathable. I did not experience any wetting through while I rode it jacket all last season. Perfect for AT and hiking the backcountry. It's not extremely warm, as it's meant to keep out wetness and be very breathable. You'll want to layer up a little on those frigid days.
The cut is functional, but still looks dope with it's droptail design. Thoughtful pocket placement keeps them clear from backpack straps.
Other features important to me:
-Zip Tech so you can zip your powder skirt to your Volcom snowpants.
-Face Tech adjustable, integrated facemask.
-Lycra wrist gaiters.
-Yellow color practically glows in the dark - BZZZZZZ
I'm 6 feet 150 lbs, and the large fit loose on me - just the way I like it. Medium would have fit me true to size.
