For classy occasions, impressing your girlfriend’s mom, and the odd job interview, the Volcom Men’s Stone Suit picks up the slack where your standard ripped jeans and slim tee just can’t cut it. This two-piece suit helps you dress to the nines without looking like a total sellout thanks to its tailored fit, and the lightweight material keeps you cool when you’re under pressure.
I have the Original, and I Effing love it! Just dusted it off for another Christmas party and it was a hit. So my Question is how do you go about washing it? for some reason Im thinking its not supposed to be dry cleaned? wondering if anyone has just tossed it in the washing machine?
hi guys i really want this suit when they get my size in stock but im not so sure what size to get im 5'8" 125lbs suit size 36R a 30inch waist 32 inch inseam.
Dogfunk.com knows that no one wants the used-car-salesman experience, so we decided to show you the other guys prices in an effort to keep your shopping experience as informed as possible. We do our best to confirm this information is correct, but assume no responsibility for the accuracy of the price and shipping information provided by other vendors.
Are you ever going to sell the suit jacket and suit pant separate? Since it is a slim fit suit...many people might need a bigger jacket with a smaller pant...especially if they lift weights. Like i bought a size large and the pants fit perfect, but i needed a size XL in the jacket...i have broad shoulders so i feel like i'm gonna rip it every time i open a door! Plus i bought the pinstripe "with white pinstripes", but it's actually purple pinstripes! What's up with that!? And how would i buy new pants for the suit? my jacket is still in good condition, but my pants are wrecked! Do i have to spend another $200 just for matching suit pants!? Help me out!
Hey there guy. The suit is sold as a package - jacket and pants together. We buy them from Volcom that way, so that's how we sell em. You MIGHT be able to contact volcom to buy a separate pair of pants. Otherwise I'm afraid you might be out of luck.
You do have another option, though. We just got the Volcom Paulson suit in stock, brand new. It's a snazzy number with the jacket and pants sold separately. There are even shorts if you're into matching suit-shorts. Just type Volcom Paulson into the search box and it'll pop up.
As for the pinstripes... I haven't seen anywhere on our website with your quoted "with white pinstripes." What's up with THAT Andrew? ;)
Anyways, I hope you can hook up some pants through Volcom or pick up the Paulson suit. Happy hunting.
I had purchased this suit for my boyfriend in the black pinstripe as we had over 5 weddings to attend this year. The quality of the suit is superb for the price- and it looks amazing on. The details on the suit make it look young, fresh and edgy. Every time he wears it, he gets more compliments than the last. He 6'2" and about 170 lbs, he's a 32 inch waist with a 34 inch inseam. I ordered him the large and it fit him perfectly. The suit arrived in a garment bag that matches the interior lining of the suit jacket and also has matching handkerchief. Again this suit is frickin sweet and I would highly recommend this to any young man making a "classy meets core" impression.
if you took off thoes retarted mall glasses and didnt hold up your hands like a wanna be, the suit may have actually done something for ya. i dont wanna get it now that i know theres some kid out there lookin like this in it.
From the other reviews and answers, it looks as if for your size a small would be your best bet. Don't forget though df has an unltd no questions asked return policy. so don't sweat it! rawk your new pimpness!
This suit is freaking sick; period. I ordered the pin-striped version to wear to interviews, New Years, and a wedding. It kills at doing all of those things. I am 6'3 tall, and 180lbs and the Large fits me perfectly. In jeans I usually wear a 33-34in waist, w/at least a 34in inseam (if that helps you gauge your size). People actually thought the suit was custom tailored. So if you're built like an adventurous crack-head, such as myself, the cut of this suit is awesome. I also purchased the vest; I highly recommend this it completes the look. The ONLY negative thing I can say, is the suit jacket feels a bit tight in the back if I'm stretching for something. But that's a small price to pay for sleeves the perfect length and a suit that you don't swim in.
This thing is extremely high-quality, and literally probably the best-bang for the buck clothing item I've bought in the last decade. My roommates thought I was crazy for ordering a suit from "Volcom"...after seeing/wearing it...I'd be crazy not to order it.
Go for the Large. Im 5'9" 175 lb 34 jeans and 36 dress pants and the XL fits me. These run skinny all around except for the waist. That is true to size.
I would go with the Lg. I am roughly your size and would hit up the Lg for sure.
If you look under where you would choose sizing, there is a sizing chart as well. Get some professional sizing done (thanks mom!) Need i mention df has the sickest return policy in the industry. While I know you are gonna be super impressed with yer buy, most likely some alterations will need to be made. Don't be like the newbs reppin new gear, without reppin that you actually know how to wear it. *pics, cough*
This is my second suit from Volcom's collection. Its great for any formal occasion and allows you to look great and not feel like a "suit". I've worn it to 3 weddings now and it always gets compliments. Very stylish and well worth the price. Volcom just needs to come out with some formal dress shoes to finish it off
36" inseam? Sorry to break it to you Big Bird, but the XXXL only comes in a 33in inseam, so you're pretty much outta luck like I am. I'm too tall for a small, and too skinny for a medium.
I'm 5'7" and 120 lbs. I normally wear a 28x30 in most jeans and small in shirts. Clothes from most retailers are just a little too big due to my size. Is this jacket/pant combo something that would fit me without to much alteration?
Whatup Chris, you might be able to rock this suit with some minor altercations such as hemming the pant cuffs and wearing a belt. That said, it would do you good to check out the sizing chart located directly under the "Select Options" box. Take some measurements, and you'll have a good idea whether or not you'll be able to pull it off. Good luck bro

Ordered the Volcom Stone Suit in black for my grandson's prom. He is 6'10" and weighs about 135-140 (very thin). He normally wears 32-30 pants (long waisted, short legs) and 15-1/2 neck shirt. I ordered both the Small and Med sizes because we were not sure which size would fit based on measurements given. ** This suit is 'first class', but it does run slim (the Med fit him), so if unsure I would suggest anyone order the larger size than what they would usually wear. The only alteration needed was the pants shortened slightly. He wore the Volcom suit, Enjoi belt (with panda logo) and black w/white Vans and got many, many compliments from his friends on how great he looked in the suit. Both he and myself were extremely pleased with the quality of the suit and added bonus of garment bag to store it in. ** Caution: The instructions given on this site for measuring sleeve length proved to be wrong. He went to a men's shop and they fitted him for a shirt, properly measuring from the shoulder to wrist with arm bent at the elbow. The measurement they took was perfect versus the measurement I took using Dogfunks instructions. I would order from this company again based on the customer service and quality of merchandise ordered.
Volcom does make ties and we've carried them in the past, but I don't think we carry them anymore. You can order them direct from volcom though. Peep this link...
I have 5 of these suits. I bought them thinking one was going to be blue with stripes and black with stripes but Apparently the pimp in me could not read without one of my tricks translating for me.
You will walk with a swagger you never knew you had. You will attract women Angelina Jolie wish she could adopt.
This suit is damn hot, I literally burned a whole into because I was smoking a Cohiba and was partying to hard with an assortment of ladies I had no Idea what I was doing.
It is a suit that will make you feel like a God among mere mortals with lesser and much uglier suits.
hey if someone could help i am 6'2 around 155 unsure whether to go Medium because it seems like all my sizes measure up to it on the size chart or large because of my height and the reputation of having to order a size up. Thanks
Love this suit! I wore it and did not want to take it off afterwards. It is a very good price for the high quality of the suit. A nice surprise when it came in the mail- it comes with a suit bag that incorporates the material used for the lining. Best suit ever
Small, I would say so. Bought for my grandson (135-140 lbs) and the Med fit him perfectly, except the pants he ordered needed shortened slightly. Top quality suit.
Hey guys. So I've been thinking about getting this suit, but I don't know if it'll fit me. I usually wear a size 38 in jeans, but my current suit pants say 42R on them. I don't know if the sizing chart is for jeans or for pants.
I'm also about 6' tall and 270 lbs. But I really don't look that large
HAHAHA if your suit is doing the talking, you need a better lawyer! Paired with a haircut and a fresh shave, this suit will wash your hands clean of any crime in a court of law. Also, keep in mind that "not guilty" and "innocent" are not the same thing. (DISCLAIMER: this suit will in no way wash your hands clean of any crime in a court of law).
This is one of the best purchases I have ever made online... This Suit is going to be the coolest Suit anywhere you go... and the price was good too... I really wanted to get the 2007 version of this suit, but they are not selling them anymore(Bummer)...
I'm 6'3", 205-210lbs. After reading all the reviews, it sounds like I'd need a XXL. My regular jacket size is 44L, and I usually wear a 36" waist in jeans (sometimes a 38" waist in dress pants). Could someone please confirm/deny that a XXL will work for my measurements. Thank you.
I ordered the XL, it was too small. I am 6'0 245 lbs. Should ordered the xxl, the XL was way too tight on the legs chest and arms for me. Shipping to canada is $80+ so its not worth returning for the right size, though it is possible i will give this one away and order another.
This is the problem with being a big kid and ordering online. I read alot of reviews but should have waited for more feedback i guess.
I'm 5'10" 145 lbs, and i went with a small because I like my pants snug, but I can't afford to gain any weight now and still be able to wear this suit. You're a bit heavier than I am, so I would say to at least get a medium, but you really should compare your demensions to the sizing chart before making your decision. worst case scenario, you get to take advantage of Dog Funk's killer return policy.
Boys demand attention, Men take it. The Volcom Stone Suit has become my go-to attire for swanky office affairs, weddings, or when I just want to be the best looking guy at the bar . . . not the diner. This is for those who have out-grown the Pete Wentz haircut but aren't ready to hang up the skateboard. The pants are cut slim and taper at the knees a bit but somehow look good with a pair of sneakers. Warning: either the off-set stitching yoke along the back of the jacket/ slacks or the swank inner lining will make sure you get those 3rd year fashion school hotties chatting you up. Be prepared.
Sorry dude we didn't ever have the light grey pinstripe ( Im not even seeing that on Volcom's site..was that a last year model?), only the black. You might have to contact Volcom directly for that kind of a hook up. The black pinstripe still has some major steeze points if you change your mind. Good luck.
Def gotta show love... This suit fits perfect, its true to its size, and it def grabs attention.. Chix seem to dig the handkerchief it brings along to!! Enjoy it boys and stay classy! ~ Gabriel "Sweet Potato" Grullon
Okay, so my prom is coming up and I'm interested in this suit, confused on size though. I'm a skinny dude, but tall. About 5' 11", 130 pounds. I normally wear a 30x32 in pants, and I have no clue about my size in a jacket. Any ideas on size? Thanks!
This is fully excellent suit for your skinny ass! Any punk who needs a suite for a funeral - be it their own or their friends - should get this suite. Stink that it was too small for my fat ass - ordered an XXL and could not get my leg down the pants. I'm a geezer though... You young pioneers should have no problem slipping this suite on over your scrawny frames. Volcom - make some of this Stone crap that will fit actual men - ya dorks!!
The medium size suit has a 32 waist, but i'm 5'11'' and the jacket fits me like a pro, so the medium sleeves may be slightly long on you, the possibility of getting it tailored though may work, or you could have it run a little long in the arms, overall the suit is killer.
The suit looks fresh as hell, but its super tight in the shoulders and the thigh/crotch area are insane tight too. I took it to get it tailored and i was rejected due to not enough material in the seams to loosen it up.
Shipping to Canada is not free unfortunately. The best way to calculate your shipping cost is to add the item to your cart, put in your shipping info and select your shipping option.
i'm 6' 185 if i skip breakfast, built like a football player i guess i got the black in large the pants fit like a dream, my aunt hemmed em for me, the jacket however is a little snug across the back, not compromising the black vest makes it and the hollywood shirt is hot, be warned the shirts made for a bowtie it all comes together super tight and you feel like the joker in a one of kind of suit
I am a 42R (5'9" 175) and I got the XL. The pants are a 34 inch waist on the L and a 36 inch waist on the XL. They are both going to be long inseams - I had to get mine tailored alot, so I would probably say a L for you. It fits just about perfect on me if you are looking for a tailored looking suit. Its not SUPER skinny, but doesnt look like something out of "The Untouchables" either. Dang I love that movie...
Since this is Volcom, it is probably going to run shorter and narrower. I would go off the sleeve measurements rather than chest, my guess being you will have to have additional tailoring done to get it to hang right, but regardless you'll look steezy when you're out on the town.
this suit is pretty pimp . i wore it to a wedding and it went over very well . the sizing chart is very accurate, and it came shipped ready to go ,no wrinkles. and it is also quite comfortable
here's a question. Im a pretty big guy. i am 6'5" about 265. my waist is like a 36ish but my thighs are too big for most pants. I need to look fancy for a wedding this summer. am i way out of my league getting the XXL or do you think it'll fit?
The thighs on these pants are definately not baggy at all. I am 5'9" 175 and the thighs on my XL are more along the tailored look. They are not super skinny looking on me, but if I cross my foot across my knee when I sit I definately feel the pants get tighter around my thighs. I say go for it, but order before the week of your buddies wedding incase the suit isn't right for your build.
Yep, XXL oughta do ya just right. XL would be too small. my homey that's 6'6, 250 imparted these words of wisdom, "if it aint double X, it aint my SIZE, yo."
they do and there on this website. Volcom tuxedo acessory package. comes with a bow tie cufflinks and a cumberbun... well worth it just for the cufflinks
This suit is made for skinny non-muscular people... If you have an athletic build or a bit chunky go a size up and take it to get fitted. I am 5-6 and weigh around 140-145 I alsmost ripped the shoulders when I put my arms to up in a sm! I just ordered a Med. i will let you guys iknow when i get the replacement...
well no shit it didnt fit you moran! you got a small and weigh 145! thats at least a medium or large! im 6 foot 210 lbs and the x-large fit me like a dream! good luck
I am 6'1" 140 lbs (built like a stick), 31" waist so I was thinking about going with the medium but I see that it recommends a large for someone my height. Also, would this be formal enough for prom?
hey tyler,, i am fm AB but living in Germany right now, and purchased this suit fm sourceboards.com in canada, they are only outwest but have free shipping anywhere in canada ...great suit, u will love it...hope to visit ur prov sometime...
Hey Tyler, all you need to do is choose a color and size, click the "add to cart" button, fill in your postal code on the following pages and shipping options will pop up. You do not need to purchase at that time. Hope that helps.
I wear a 42R in traditional department store suits and got the XL in this bad boy. The jacket fit perfectly and came with size 36 waist pants. The cut on this suit has a more skinny feel, but the XL looks really sharp on me, just not baggy. The XL is not nearly as skinny looking as the picture shows. The only bummer is that there are no shoulder pads, so the shoulder material kinda bunches up. The pinstripes are very thick though which I love. This suit is perfectly classy enough for any wedding or formal occasion, but the style will separate you from all the other suits around. Remember when ordering though, just like any other suit you will probably have to get the pant legs and jacket sleeves tailored. Looks even sicker with the optional vest.
What's the difference between the 07, 08, and 09 versions. do they fit differently, or is it just the lining color? Some photos make the 07 and 08 look baggier imo. Thank you in advance.
The pants would fit good, but I don't know about the jacket. I'm 5' 11" 160 lbs, wear a medium t and got a medium. I have to exchange it because I feel like it's going to rip if I stretch my arms out. The sizing chart is pretty accurate.
The Volcom Stone Suit is a great addition to your wardrobe. I was a bit skeptical when I purchased it, but have been very pleased with the fit and construction of it. I am 5'10, 135 lbs and wear a 32 pant. I purchased the medium and it fits great. Do yourself a favor and take it to the tailor for any sizing tweaks so it is just right. This suit definitely has a slim, modern fit in both the jacket, as well as the pant. Additionally the rise in the trouser is a bit higher than most suiting pants (boxer wearers take note). The total styling package of the suit is classic Volcom. All in all well worth $200.
Alright, is this suit anything like something I should wear as a senior at Purdue University trying to land a big job? Because it's sick looking but from the description, is it professional enough? Either way I'm gonna order one ha
As someone who wears suits each day to work, No, do not wear this to an interview. I say this not to be snobbish but because it will stand out in an extremely wrong way.
Well I always wanted to be James Bond, who wouldn't! you get to kill people and get hot chicks. Let's face it, we live in reality. So instead, i got this suit and when i put it on I feel like James Bond. Dude, don't buy some Sears or stupid brand name gay suit with wimpy fabric and dumb pockets and stitching. You going to pay more and look bad! just get this suit and kill it!! It may change your life!! What other products on this poop site can do that!!!
This is honestly the greatest suit i have ever owned! if you are skinny i most def recommend it but if you are built you should def consider something larger.
definately not a medium.. most likely xxl. my bf is a regular 34... volcom runs so darn small that we had to get him the xl. crappy thing is, pants and jacket are not sold separately... so plan on swimming in your jacket. not worth spending the extra mulah!
we even called the volcom stores and they would not sell anything solo.
