These pants are the team fit. So, it fits bigger than Volcom's other gear.
I'm 5'6, 135-ish, and the size small that I have fits Very Baggy on me. I'm not a fan of the velcro waist sinch, b/c when i use it adds more bulk to my waist. I find that the size small waist is about two inches too wide. And as you can sorta of tell from the picture above the butt has A Lot of extra material. So it bubbles out. This is in part due to the type of gor-tex these pants are made out of, which is the heavier, noisier gor-tex not the soft, mold to your body type the TDS pant has. I only got these b/c I wanted black which the TDS didn't come in this year, then soon realized the difference.
These pants are still badass waterproof, more than cover the boot, and have lots of pockets.

I was originally looking at the Burton 2L AK Summit pant to go with the AK jacket I bought (for a set), but found these pants to be way too short for me....and I'm only 5'6! Size small pants on a 5'6 girl shouldn't be flooding! Frustrated, I kept looking and decided to try these ones.
They are AWESOME! They have nicer, more feminine lines then the AK pant (AK pant doesn't have much shape), and they fell about 4 inches, YES 4 INCHES longer than the AK pant and actually covered my boot. Now, I haven't actually taken them for a test ride yet, but have a 7 day trip planned for next week that I'm stoked about because I know i'll be dry!
Note also! These pants have the zip tech, and Burton no longer does. I was worried that the powder skirt on my Burton AK jacket wouldn't work with these pants (since Volcom eliminated the loops for the powder skirt)...HOWEVER, the position that the zip is in on the pant stops the powder skirt from riding up w/o being zipped in or loop connected! It actually hold the powder skirt in place, like a ledge. Sweet!
