The Volcom Women's Venture Suede Jacket takes you where leather never could. This light jacket's synthetic material gives you the look and feel of suede leather and the waterproof protection of a 2-layer, DWR-coated shell. So go ahead and snorkel through powder, shred the park in a snowstorm, or carve deep turns on the groomers. Fully taped seams, a detachable powder skirt, and the Ziptech interface—which zips your jacket and Volcom pants together—seal out the fluffy stuff. Mesh-lined Underarm zips help regulate your body temperature when you hike to backcountry lines, and a RECCO reflector keeps you safe in the resort. For style, Volcom included a removable faux fur trim on the hood, shoulder accents, and Stone embroidery. Stash your iPod in the Venture Jacket's music pocket and enjoy the snow.

I snowboard east coast and west coast ALL winter EVERY winter and this is a great SHELL. **THIS IS A SHELL NOT A JACKET** i had no idea (the description wasn't the best) and it is NOT warm. i will say that it is a GREAT jacket though. when you hit up some back country or on a big powder day (yeah steamboat) the hood is EXTREMELY useful.

Really great jacket, loads of pockets which were very secure for camera, purse, phone etc. This jacket was very warm and kept me dry in quite wet conditions. It looks great on and off the slopes. Highly recommended jacket that did everything I needed it to do.
