You've been eating right, working out, and meditating all summer in preparation for a winter of snow-therapy, but are you really ready? Until you strap on the Von Zipper Chakra Goggle, we're afraid your inner self will remain misaligned and prevent you from achieving enlightenment (or a successful switch 5). With 100% UV protection, enhanced visibility through lens and frame design, and strategically placed vents, the Chakra provides more than just a magical boost to your chosen look this season.
Spherical lens mimics the shape of your eyes to provide wide peripheral vision and the least amount of distortion
Thermo-Polyurethane frame retains flexibility in temps that can freeze snot to your stache
Triple-density face foam is lined with soft fleece to pull moisture away from your skin
Forward vents with mesh on the upper part of lens allow significant airflow to eliminate fogging
Bottom Line: Pop off the lip, pull your muladhara chakra over your anahata, and be sure focus on your sahasrara to stick the landing.
I got these goggles for my wife last season, and she absolutely loves them. The low profile style and fit of the Chakra is perfect for any lady on the hill.
These things never fog, are super durable and just have too much swag haha. the peripheral vision is lacking though, going to go with a bigger lens next time.

Out of the lenses we currently have in stock for the Chakra goggle, your best choice would be the Smoke Pink Chrome lens which is optimal for overcast and blizzard light conditions.
The best lens for night riding is either a yellow or clear lens. And right now, we do have a yellow replacement lens in stock on Dogfunk.com as Item# VON0148 (http://www.dogfunk.com/von-zipper-chakra-goggle-replacement-lens).
Here's a breakdown of how some of the VZ lenses perform:
Bronze Polarized = 9% VLT = Best for sunny, partly cloudy conditions. Bronze Chrome = 13% VLT = Best for sunny, partly cloudy conditions. Gold Chrome = 14% VLT = Best for sunny, partly cloudy conditions. Fire Chrome = 20% VLT = Best for sunny, partly cloudy conditions. Smoke Green Chrome = 32% VLT = Best for sunny, partly cloudy conditions. Bronze Pink Chrome = 35% VLT = Best for sunny, partly cloudy conditions. OK for overcast and blizzard conditions. Rose = 35% VLT= Best for partly cloudy conditions. OK for sunny, overcast, or blizzard conditions. Smoke Pink Chrome = 44% VLT = Best for overcast and blizzard conditions. OK for sunny and partly cloudy conditions. Yellow = 73% VLT = Best for blizzard and night conditions. OK for overcast conditions.
VLT = Visual Light Transmittance = A measure of the amount of light that passes through the lens. *The lower the percentage, the darker the lens tint, and the better it is for sunny conditions. *The higher the percentage, the lighter the lens tint, and the better it is for cloudy conditions.
hey , ive used a lot of goggles and all of them hve their disadvantages at night, but if ur rlly looking into these specific goggles u can see if they sell replacement lense for them. if so u can buy some clear lenses and you will be all set for those graybird conditions, also another option is to check out anon goggles, on their website they have a virtual lens tester so u can see what they look like at night and when its cloudy.
I recently made the mistake of wiping down my goggles on the inside and now they fog up. Before than they were perfect and wouldn't fog up on me even with my touque and bandeezy rockin. Any one know how i can settle this for good?
Sounds like you may have removed the manufacturer's anti-fog coating that is applied to the inside of the goggle lens. There are quite a few after market products like anti-fog spray and goggle wipes that can help restore the coating. You never want to apply an anti-fog product to a new goggle as it can have a negative chemical interaction with the manufacturer's coating. But if you're sure that coating is gone, a spray or wipe may do the trick.
Some people even use toothpaste, potatoes, dish soap, or saliva as a quick fix to prevent goggle fogging. But if you are considering sending these in to VZ for warranty, make sure you don't do anything that would void their manufacturer warranty.
I just ordered these and super excited to get them! I see the comment above about wiping the inner lens. I have the same issue as my eye waters and it stains the inner lens. How can the inside be cleaned without scratching or damaging?????
