Description

Add some camber and snow to your weekend.

The glaciers on Finland's epic mountains are big and burly, but the weather in Cali is a tad bit better, which is why bangin' rider Heikki Sorsa is a promoter of soCal sun. He's a Fin who shreds the big, frozen landscape of his homeland and soaks up the sun of SoCal whenever he can. And he does it on the super-poppy, crazy-versatile, cambered Heikki Sorsa Snowboard.

  • Crafted at a super-secret location in the Alps by a unique breed of engineering-savy loggers using top-notch wood (so yeah, made in Austria)
  • Triaxial fiberglass enhances the natural flex of the core to ensure that the smooth flex is consistent and that the pop is more predictable
  • Kevlar reinforcements take a beating so your board doesn’t have to suffer as much
  • Structurn sintered base material gets you up to speed quickly so you can avoid kissing stairs, molesting rails, and having your knuckles make love to the ground
  • The board game graphics will inspire you to play more board games on the weekend

Meh

Board is not "medium-soft" it is pretty friggin stiff if you ask me. Maybe I've ridden super soft boards or something, but I jumped on this and it was pretty stiff. I would probably rate it a 7/10 in stiffness. It is a cool board though and has some good pop from the stiffness of it. Fun board all around, not as forgiving as a reverse cambered board though.

Sexy Lookin Thang

Got this board the other day but I haven't gotten the chance to ride it yet. The top sheet of the board is sooo sick tho (I have the 153). I can't wait to test it out and when I do, I'll update my review. For now, 5 stars.

how is riding switch on this board? does the directional twin make it harder?

Responded on

Directional twin makes it so the board is very versatile and has the benefits of a directional board for carving and the benefits of a twin board for riding switch. This board can handle any kind of riding from pow to the park and switch too.

what is the shape on this board. it says directional twin but it says the stance is centered. does anyone have some info on this?

Found this from REI is seems to give a pretty good idea.
Directional twin: They feature similar size tips and tails, but the tip is more flexible than the tail. Combined with a symmetrical shape, they are suited for all-mountain and freestyle/park riders.
