XCEL Hawaii 4/3 Infiniti Full Zip Wetsuit - Men's - 2011

Do you wear chainmail surfing? Well, depending on your spot, it may provide an advantage against sharkies, but you probably won't fair well on the board. If you're looking for a wetsuit with a stretchy feel, plenty of warmth, and an eazy-in and easy-out design, then check out the Xcel Hawaii Men's 4/3 Infiniti Full Zip Wetsuit.

  • ThermoBamboo lining incorporates charcoal to help retain your body heat so you can stay out in the warmth-sapping water longer
  • Fusion Seals at the wrists and ankles utilize UltraStretch waterproof composite to cover the blind stitch on the inside and UltraStretch UV-resistant glue to seal the outside
  • UltraStretch Fusion seams that line the upper body are stitchless on the outside to allow maximum mobility as you paddle
  • UltraStretch Pressure-bonded tape seams seal the lower body and legs
  • Pre-bent sleeves position your arms for maximum mobility

Bottom Line: Definitely not for medieval battle, but pretty awesome for battling frigid water.

Ridiculous Value here

The value of this suit is unbelievable. Xcell makes great suits and this suit seriously lets no water in at all. And it's so warm. I dont love the velcro sticking to the inside of the back panel but other than that it's perfect. And not to mention DogFunk quick shipping and return policy. There's not a better wetsuit option online to be found, I'm one happy customer.

I'm kind of a "skinny tall" dude. How does this

I'm kind of a "skinny tall" dude. How does this thing fit? Should I go Medium or Large? 6'2, 160 lbs, 32' waist. I would go MT if it were available, but it's not. Any advice?

Couldn't be happier with it. Super comfortable and really warm. I don't think I'll have to buy another wet suit for a looooong time.

Can you go below the suggested water temperature for this suit without getting super cold? I surf DE/OC which water temps can get down to 38 in Feb/March. Thanks man!

This is indeed a back zip but it is off center to make grabbing the pull much easier.

If you are gonna buy rear zip, DONT LOOK BEYOND INFINITY OS by Excel and sold by Dogfunk!

By:
January 9, 2012

I have bought tons of suits throughout the years and normally just bought entry stuff because I was a strong guy who went balls out and didnt care...until Excel started earning my loyalty. NOW, I have only bought Excel and the panels and superstretch make a HUGE difference for me after monster shoulder damage from 20 military years, pro football, surfing, snowboarding and the usual X life. My next suit will be a drylock or xzip because my shoulders just cant do the zip much longer, BUT, I wouldnt buy a different rear zip suit due to placement and ease. Being retired, I couldnt afford the higher priced versions of the infinity or the drylock, but, I wont have a choice and will happily pay Dogfunk for what they offer in their stock because they FLAT OUT ROCK! Thanks Excel, Dogfunk and Dakine, you have kept me going in even COLD ASS MICHIGAN and when I travel to my favorite spots in Ventura, Cocoa Beach and Baja Malibu!!! Only reason not 5 stars is just the transition before you get over deltoids is a bit tight but it has to be and I only have a small entry issue at 6'4" 228 on the XXL. Just a big guy from shoulder to shoulder.

This wetsuit has a full OS zip and is THE top of the line zip suit by xcel. Minimizes water flush byplacing another layer of neoprene between you and zipper to insure you are still covered and the zipper doesnt affect your ability to hold warmed water to keep your core temp solid. THIS thing is bulletproof and is basically the drylock but a rear zip. Dont doubt any quality, this thing stretches beyond any imaginable standard entry suit. Crazy tech, killer stretch and quality and does what a wetsuit is supposed to...and dont look for a differnent suit for the price here at DOGFUNK! You will NOT find it!!!

Very warm this is one if not the best suits on the market - Its totaly worth it if you buy it on sale

Note I like the 3/2 best it's almost as warm as most of my 4/3 suits from other companies. This suit keeps the water out I love it!
