Description

To Infiniti and bey ... you get the idea.

Surfing in the Atlantic? You'll probably need the XCEL Men's 5mm Infiniti Round-Toe Boot, no matter what time of year it is. Inside this stretchy boot lies a heat-retaining lining to keep you warm and taped seams that keep chilly water from creeping inside and turning your toes numb.
  • UltraStretch neoprene offers the idea mix of flexibility and warmth
  • ThermoBamboo heat-retaining lining fuses bamboo charcoal with polyester to enhance core insulation
  • Double-glued and blind-stitched seams stand up to seabed smacking, and the reinforced stress points ensure the boot lasts for years

round toe vs. split toe

typically i wear the xcel split toe 5mm and love the feel, same sole as the 3mm, extra warmth without board feel loss. I picked up the round toe 5mm because split toe wasnt avail in my size. Have you ever been in a snowball fight while wearing mittens instead of gloves? thats what is feels like to wear the round toe 5mm. Horrible. Balloon foot. if you drag your toes even the slightest bit while popping up, the tip of these booties folds under your foot and that is why split toes were invented. split toe = form fitting. round toe = cold water balloon. P.s. xcel's bootie sizing is true to shoe sizing, you dont have to get them 3 sizes smaller than your shoes, but a 1/2 size is nice

Great winter/cold water boots.

Great boot for water in high 40's - mid 50's. Fits really snug, but they're supposed to be snug, right?! Good feel, seem very durable. I'm a women's size 7 and purchased a size 6 (men's) - and they seem to be the right size for me. Easier to get on when they're dry, tougher to get off when they're wet, but no big deal. Haven't yet figured out the best way to dry them. I run fresh water in them after surfing, then leave them to dry, stuff w/ paper towels, and blow some cool air into them with the hair dryer.

easiest way to dry them is to put them under the dryer vent! dries within an hour or so.
