Don't be the guy with ski equipment all over the highway.
From raised factory rail to flushed side rail, the Yakima Rail Grab Tower keeps your Yakima crossbar from shifting in flight—no matter how many G's you think your little sportscar can produce. Installation is simple, just grab the supplied wrench, and give a quick lever turn to secure your setup. Your crossbar slides through the top sleeve, and these towers lock to your roof using SKS core locks (sold separately). Sounds like all your problems are solved. Now where are we going to get dinner?
- Editor's note: this is a pair of towers (2), so be sure to purchase two of these pairs in order to mount two crossbars on your roof for a complete rack

Gets the job done
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
We had a set of Yakima cross bars and needed to mount them to our Sienna van and they do the trick. Easy to install and seamless integration with the Yakima SKS key system. Haven't loaded the cargo carrier or ski rack up yet, but that will coming soon (so far so good anyway).
I had use the Q towers in the past and compared to those these are easier to install and they are stronger. Obviously model design has a lot to do with it (some cars can use these and some cannot). I have these on my Suby right now and wow do I love these. They keep a nice low profile so they are sleek and they like I said are probably the simplest yakima product I have ever installed.
will these mount onto the factory mounted...
will these mount onto the factory mounted rails of my 2006 nissan frontier 4 door truck?
