Description

Fun, pure and simple.

Your parents always said ‘Life’s simple pleasures are the best, yada, yada’ when they were telling you that you couldn’t have something you wanted. Damned if the folks at Yes. haven’t backed that old saw up with The Basic Snowboard, proving that you don’t need to weigh a board down with a ton of bells and whistles to create a great ride. Yes.’s groundbreaking introductory model is back for a second year of all-mountain fun, with a versatile twin shape and a cambered profile that can take on anything from backcountry lines to park boxes, and come back the next day for more. And while the Basic’s graphics may be nice and simple, the distinctive design and screaming colors will get you noticed—that is, if your riding hasn’t already done that.

Hey Jacob,

Yeah, this would be a good choice because its a mid-flex and reasonably priced. Not sure what size you need but you can get a K2 WWW right now for just about the same price too, look it up on Dogfunk.

Hey Jacob,

Its not a super soft buttery type board but depending how aggressive you are and your skill level you can really press most anything. It's a medium stiffness so you should be just fine.

I got this board in 156 as replacement for my broken last year Yes. 158 (with CamRock).I can say this is for those who still like regular camber, but with a short effective edge.. so it's powerful, grippy and stable, but also forgiving. Tips are also a bit high (about 6cm) so it can handle some pow days with not too much stuff.Pop is great, take offs and landings are easy and stable. the flex is medium, so you can still press it with not too much effort. The only negative thing to say it's that is an heavy board.. heavier than my last year 158!It would be perfect for my style, but unfortunately it's too heavy.
I use it with 2011 Burton Restricted Cartel

Would the 56 be wide enough for a size 12 boot?

Hey,

You will have just a little bit of toe drag (Depending on your boots). The board I'm riding this year has a 252 waist width where this one is 251, I also wear a size 12 and it fits perfect. However, I purchased very low profile boots as well.

Hey,

We do indeed ship to Canada. Unfortunately there are certain brands that do not allow us to ship their goods out of the U.S though. To view this list visit the link below:
