Yes' resident rail wizard Frank April rides the Public Snowboard when
he's laying down his smooth stylings in the streets. This soft-flexing
board is playful for jibbing and rockered at the tip and tail for a
forgiving ride, but still packs plenty of pop and provides the stability
needed to stomp big drops and send jumps. Plus, it's wide enough to accommodate your big boots without your having to worry about toe drag when you're turning.
The FlatRock profile is flat with just enough rocker at the tip and tail to give it a catch-free feel without making it feel like a noodle. Biax glass provides a soft, consistent flex for your jibbing pleasure, and Humps Profiling increases the thickness of the core near the inserts, then tapers towards the tip and tail so you can get really tweaked presses without sacrificing board strength or snappiness. A twin shape makes it easier to take off and land switch, and the beech and ash core is lightweight and poppy. After taking a few dingers throughout the season, the extruded base is easy to repair and absorbs wax well so it still rides like new.
