The team at Yes. made no mistakes when it brought The Typo Snowboard to into being, so you can’t possibly go wrong with this sweet all-mountain pleasure machine. The Typo’s CamRock hybrid profile features camber between the bindings for high-speed control when you’re ripping long lines, jumping rails, and launching off kickers. At the tip and tail, a rocker profile endows The Typo with float in the deep stuff and jib-tastic maneuverability everywhere else. A wax-sucking sintered 5000 base provides a hard, fast surface underfoot on any kind of snow, and the twin shape is impeccably correct in either direction.

im looking to get the dudes or the typo but i was wondering about sizing, i know with some hybrid camber boards you can get away with riding smaller boards. im looking to ride a lot of powder, trees, groomers, jumps, a little park and some back country. please help... im 5'7 145lbs. which board would be better and in what size?!

Simply Amazing!

I seriously have nothing negative to say about this board...with the altered camber for extra grab and control to the amount of pop this board delivers with minimal effort, it's simply perfect! I bought it as a second to my 152 park board as I wanted something a little more stable so I got the 156 (I'm 6'2" 170 lbs). I ended up breaking every board in my aresenal this year EXCEPT the YES! So while other boards are in for warranty, this doesn't even make me sad, as I'd probably be riding the YES anyway. Well done NDK.

Does 149cm board would fit (150-156 weight) (boot size 9-9.5)? any1? please.

it might be pushing it but for u r height u could ride a bigger board im saying up to around a 152 would be alright for u.. but depending on what ur gonna be doing. for straight rails and boxes a smaller board is nice but if ur gonna be hitting some jumps a slightly bigger board is a wise decision. and if ur gonna be jibbing mostly theres better boards out there. hope i helped man

YES Board

I got this board. It was really stiff. Not that fun. Sent it back. I like the camrock though

Hey guys. I was wondering if you would go a few cm shorter than usual with this board. i know its not a rockered board but from what i hear it has some of the same qualities. i ride a 158 and i was wondering if i could drop that down to a 156-152 and get the same feel and not have the board break. what do you guys think?

Best Answer Responded on

sizing all depends on what you want to do with the board. my pow board is a 160 and my fun board is a 154. both are standard camber. you are not likely to break a board that is only a few cm's shorter.

Unfortunately it does not look like we will be getting more in any time soon. Sorry for the bad news.

is it pretty easy to press? how does camrock compair to rocker?

Responded on

Hey Kevin,

Yeah you can definitely press this board pretty easily but it isn't a noodle by any means. As for the comparison...Camrock is a type of "rocker". The Camrock technology features camber underfoot and rocker in the tip and tail. Basically this means imo that you get the best of both worlds. The regular camber underfoot gives you pop and edge control while the rocker in the tip and tail gives you softness for buttering and float for powder.

Hey, I'm looking to buy the YES 156 Typo....

Hey, I'm looking to buy the YES 156 Typo. I have a feeling I'm going to need size 11 boots. How do you think I will manage for toe/heel drag? I'm thinking I will be fine but some expert advice is appreciated! Thanks

Best Answer Responded on

You should be fine. I have last years 156.5 with L/XL Forces and a size 11 boot. I didn't have any issues at all; I think I run them +12 -9.

i wear an 11, with a 152 would i be getting some boot overhang?

might have a little depending on what you set your binding angles at but not so much that it will effect you to much so you should be good to go unless you have like a 0,0 stance....... hoped that helped

hey!!! finally u guys have yes boards!!!...

hey!!! finally u guys have yes boards!!! hey im a size 12 boot and theres no wideboards... will a 162 be a good ride for me pontoon feet/ shoot me back. thanks

Responded on

ya u should be fine with a 162 u might have a little over hang but i ride a 153cm and have a 153 dc pbj so im sure that u should be ok with a 162 if thats the size you want

Responded on

Yeah man you will be fine. I ride a Rome
Machine 154W with a waist width of around 258. I have 12's aswell and I have NO toe or heel drag. Seeing as the 154 has a waist of 251, when u size up they tend to get a little wider. So aslong as ur feet are a lil ducked out then ur golden. But the waist of a 162 should prob be around 256-260, so you will have no problems. Hope this helps bro
